Love is wanting what’s best for the other person.
Love is giving more than your taking.
Love is putting someone else’s needs before your own.
Love is patient and helpful.
Love is being there for somebody when they need you the most.
Love is learning to put aside differences to make a better union.
Love is cooperating with someone else for the better well-being of you both

False Claims of Love

All i wanted was you

and you claimed to want me too

want me.

or maybe you did want me,

but just didn’t want to have me.

didn’t want to love me.

didn’t want to want this girl who wanted nothing but love.

but attention.

but time.

but affection.

but now I’ve learned my lesson.

The hard way, but I’ve learned it, nonetheless.

Never love someone who says they love you

I know it all too well.

Loving A Ghost

I miss him.
But I know he gone
& he’s never returning.
But still my love for him
is burning.
Like money in my pocket,
but I can’t spend it..
I can’t stop it.
The memory of him
I’ll keep forever.
The good times we had
I’ll always treasure.
But we grew up
& things got worse,
not better.
With YOU
I only had bad weather.
Grey skies and lots of rain.
Where he brought me relief,
you brought me pain.
Crazy to think,
that these two people,
could be one in the same.
That’s something
I’ll never be able to wrap around my brain.
But hey, you know the saying.
